When a couple decides to exchange their vows and celebrate their love in a dream location away from home with their guests, they are deciding on a destination wedding. Destination weddings often take place in tropical areas such as the Caribbean, Mexico or Hawaii. Others decide to celebrate their wedding in Europe, South America or a domestic seaside location. The entire wedding party will travel to the destination to attend the wedding and vacation alongside the bride and groom.
Destination weddings can be a time-consuming and stressful undertaking. Coordinating wedding details at an “away” destination can be overwhelming and daunting. Burkhalter has partnered with Weddings On The Move to assure our clients that their wedding happens as planned and expected.

- Princess Cruises is a great cruise line with their own honeymoon and destination wedding program called Tie the Knot. They are the only cruise line whose Captain can legally perform the wedding ceremony at sea.
- Sandals is the premier honeymoon and wedding resort destination. Twenty-five years of dedicated service makes Sandals number one.

Registry Services
Traditionally, in the long history of wedding arrangements, brides and grooms have registered their preferred selections of silver, china, crystal and appliances with their local china stores and fine department stores.
Now, you can register your dream wedding plans through our Registry Service. Your friends and relatives will have a gift-giving option of assisting in your wedding travel plans.
Burkhalter will introduce you to a variety of special and romantic destinations and will guide you on selections that are within your time limitations, interests and budget. Once the date is chosen and destination selected, we will reserve and confirm the space. You then advise your friends and relatives that Burkhalter is one of your Registries. They can send cash or checks to your personal wedding account, which is escrowed. In the event the total amount of gifts is not sufficient for your planned travel, you may add to it, select another destination or have the money refunded.
